Recipes AND Papercrafting fun wrapped up in one!

On my site, Cuppas and Cards, I'm involved in a recipe card swap and it has been so much fun!! I'm making my second recipe card to send out to 7 different ladies. This is my offering for the next month. I'm quite proud of how it is turning out! The ribbon tab is to pull the instructions up out of the red folder. The instructions are laminated so they don't get ruined if they get wet!! I took the photo of the Matryoshka dolls and then cut them out to fit the card.

I liked my first one, too!

I like how you paired the recipe and the layouts together...very fitting! What did you use on the embossed edge of the first one? Chalk, ink or something else?

Very nice genuine cards! Great idea!!!
Are you still alive after so much run and walk lately? You can share impresions with Gordon, as he knows how it is to push the double stroller up our hill on 228th St. :-)

That turned out so cute. In fact, they both came out really nice. Great job DIL (by default ;-)

Amy, the gold is just a marker that I used to trace the embossing!
