This morning I have a couple of songs winging through my mind!
"Oh! What a beautiful morning!" and "Silence is golden"! It is the Day of Silence for deaf awareness for Tiana's ASL (sign language) class. All of the ASL students are to be silent from wake-up to 3pm. Ahhh....!!! 'Twill but last a day!
Oh! And one more song, too!
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" in special dedication to my MOM!! Happy Birthday Mom!

So they didn't have to participate in school on Friday and could be silent in school all day? Lucky her. That would be a challenge. I remember when the kids did something like that...and around people they were "silent" but then they would whisper to one another when no one was watching. Kinda defeated the purpose. LOL The thought is good though to help kids to see what deaf people experience everyday.
