Girls' Day Away

So, Jolyn had to leave her car in Chelan last weekend because of a broken motor mount. That gave me an excuse to need to take her back over to get it this Thursday. So, after Tiana went off to school, off went we two girls to Chelan via Leavenworth. We did a bit of photography, a bit of eating a fabulous German lunch and then on to the car retrieval. On my way home, alone in the car, my mind was just spouting random thoughts of the day. Unfortunately, on the way home I ended up sitting completely stopped for two hours while a very serious accident was cleaned up and so I was able to write down those thoughts I'd had. Maybe I'll share them and a few corresponding pictures.

Hi Sis Mel!
Glad to find out about your recent adventures. Busy life you have, and I still think you don't have enough trouble, so I thought to send our kids your way tomorrow :-)
Nice to see the picture of Vi, Andy & Ann. It reminded me that I still have pictures to upload from our camera, we have pictures of them too. Andy and Ann are such a nice couple, aren't they?
I can't believe that Tiana is almost done with her braces. They take longer in general.
See you tomorrow. I'll call you before.
Love you! Ivona

Sounds like a very nice time. Alone time is good for all of us. Thought of all our walks today when I had to walk home from Costco- getting tires on my car. Not miles and miles but I wished you were with me to talk to me. :)
